And what better place to make up for the past two summers than a sunny island known for its legendary parties? You heard it here first: SYB is heading to IBIZA this August. If you just screamed, we feel you. It’s time to get loud. 

Ibiza announced in January that clubs have the green light to fully reopen their doors for the first time in three summers, and you know they are going to make sure it was worth the wait. The vibes will be off the wall with extended seasons to bigger parties to insane talent lineups. If you thought Ibiza was wild before the pandemic, just wait until you see the energy after being shut down for a few years. Here are our picks for the top weekly parties you’ll want to hit in Ibiza this summer:

1. Flower Power

No case of the Mondays here, people. Just good times and good vibes all around. Pacha has been hosting this hippie, decade-spanning party for 40 seasons, one of the longest on the island. Bring along your flower headbands from Coachella 2014 and get ready to boogie down to music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s spun by the likes of DJ Piti, Joan Ribas, Mariano, Willie Graff, and DJ Oliver. Finally, a place where it’s acceptable to throw up a peace sign in every photo.

2. Calvin Harris:

I mean, do we really need to say more than that? The chart-topping legend is blessing Ibiza with a Summer 2022 residency every Friday at Ushuaïa. It’s just one of the hottest DJs at one of the hottest clubs in the world, no big deal. Nightclubs are planning to fully reopen their doors for the first time in three summers. The talent lineups are insane, and the vibes will be off the wall. 3. Applebum Pool Party

It’s not Ibiza in the summer without a pool party. The weather may be a little warm for apple-bottom jeans and boots with the fur, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still get low to all your favorite hip hop and R&B hits every Saturday afternoon at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. It sounds like an SYB twerk-off may be in the cards.

4. Glitterbox

Hï Ibiza is bringing alllll the glitz, glam, and sparkle every Sunday night. If you’re not too distracted by the dozens of twirling disco balls hanging above your head, a range of well-known and up-and-coming DJs spinning house and disco music is sure to entrance you. The uplifting energy is a staple at this weekly party. This one is for all you divas, drag queens, and disco enthusiasts.

For those who are fully vaxxed, there is no testing or quarantine requirement to enter Spain as of March 2022. Just fill out an online form, show your vaccination card on arrival, and you’re good to go. It’s time to let loose and live your best life, and we cannot wait.
