So that hotel you wanted to stay at? Chances are it’s almost completely booked. Or the reservation at that hot new day club? Good luck. 

The numbers are showing that people are hyped to go on their next adventure. It’s time to lock down summer plans now since places like beaches and national parks are seeing huge crowds, and those that require reservations are close to sold out through the high season. A little-known secret that will change your travel game. Wanna get TF out of your hometown but don’t know where to go or what your best options are? Open up Google Flights, throw in your departing airport, and keep the destination spot blank. You’ll get a full map that you can filter by date, location, and trip duration, or leave it up to the algorithm to come up with your whole trip. We’d be lying if we said we haven’t spent an excessive amount of time playing around with this. 

Skyscanner 

This is another travel game-changer to compare flights, hotels, and rental cars all on one site. Like Google Flights, there is an easily accessible calendar for price breakdown and an “everywhere” function to leave the destination open-ended. Where Skyscanner really comes in clutch is with their inclusion of Covid restriction updates for destinations, as well as providing all possible flight combinations so the work of comparing roundtrips vs one-ways on multiple airlines is done for you.

One of the best free resources in the industry -- it’s as easy as signing up with your email. We like it quick and simple. You’re about to get insane flight deals delivered to your inbox that the SCF team is constantly monitoring for. You’ve gotta be ready to smash that book button, though, because these prices usually only last a day or two. And if you want the best of the best deals, an annual membership to SCF will pay for itself times 100 in the money you’ll save on your spontaneous adventures.
