This experience is all about balance, connection, and growth, set against the backdrop of a stunning, natural paradise. Every day, we’ll carve out time for yoga and meditation to help ground ourselves, followed by moments of self-reflection through journaling. Immersing in nature—whether it’s through hikes, runs, or surfing—is a constant part of the rhythm here, offering time to reconnect with the world around us. Fitness and movement will be woven into our daily routine, keeping the body strong and energized. We also dedicate time for deep work, a chance to dive into personal projects or professional tasks, before coming together to share our thoughts and insights with one another.
Throughout the week, there are moments to break away from structure, yet still, find connection in community. We set intentions early on, sharing our tangible goals with each other, making space for accountability and encouragement along the way. Mealtime becomes more than just food—it’s a gathering where we laugh, play games, or skill share and teach each other our expertise. Whether it’s a casual taco night at a local spot or brainstorming sessions where we map out ideas and visualize progress, these moments help us stay focused on both our individual and collective growth.
By the week’s end, we make sure to celebrate—be it around a bonfire with beach games, or poolside lunches that turn into evenings of unwinding together. There’s time to take on new adventures too, with days dedicated to exploring, from catamaran trips to zip-lining or horseback riding. These experiences remind us of the importance of living fully, not just working to achieve.
As the week closes, Sundays are reserved for slowing down, appreciating what’s been accomplished, and taking care of our inner selves. It’s a day of reflection and gratitude, reinforcing the idea that a healthy soul is essential to a healthy life. It’s a balance that we strive to carry forward, long after the trip ends.
Everyday at 6/6:30am we will meet at the yoga sky deck to watch the sunrise, go through a short group meditation, prompt a few journal questions and share if you're comfortable.
These are all optional activities, they help with perspective and setting up a routine that serves us the best possible version of ourselves!
Mariel is the owner of the Spanish School in the local town of San Juan Del Sur and she will be coming with another one of her teachers directly to our property. Included in your package is a weekly one on one lesson. These will be scheduled according to everyones availability.
If you would like to do more, we can help you arrange that.
Typically this is at 7am, after mediation, journaling and a couple cups of coffee we take to our jungle gym and do a variety of different workouts hitting all levels and all body parts! Our jungle gym has all the equipment needed for a variety of workouts, even a pull up bar for those daily pull ups! We dare you, set a crazy goal or routine and we'll help you get it everyday!
Runners!! We also have miles of trails to run if that is your jam!
Swimmers!! Bring your goggles because if you have extra energy we'll take ocean swims to compliment those daily workouts!
Yogis!! We we'll set up a time that works for the group, typically sunset hour practice our yoga!
We recommend you get medical insurance. If anything happens our leaders will take you to a hospital or clinic nearby.
We additionally offer a $50 insurance program called Nicaragua Medical Care for basic medical needs for an on-call doctor. If you select this extra upon check-out, our local doctor, Dr. Norlan, can arrive typically within 30min-1hour and provide basic to intermediate medical needs such as IV drip for dehydration, bites, cuts, stomach issues, etc. You may call him up to 3x with this extra option at no cost except for the medicine used.
Our internet is rated at 200+mbps, all the villas, the yoga deck, the pools have their own dedicated wifi. There is also a backup wifi line for emergencies.
We have a back up wifi system to make sure that you never miss that zoom call. As a 3rd option we'll have data ready to tether with LTE speeds.
That's right, your room will be cleaned everyday except on Sundays.
During our stay we will coordinate an optional donation of supplies to those in need. We'll go purchase the supplies at the local grocery store and deliver them to local families in need with our local partners.
Included in the package is a weekly one hour massage. These can be soft or strong and believe me you'll want them after our workout session and surf lesson/sessions. They will come to our property and you can pick a time that works for your schedule.
Additionally you can also order manicure or pedicures from them.

Our month comes to an end on January 21th at 11am. We recommend flying from Managua airport and we'll set up transportation if you pre-book with us.
We can help arrange taxis to and from the airport with people we trust. You will have a chance to talk to others in our group chat so that you can split the taxi costs!
It will be pretty warm in the mornings and nights, sometimes you'll consider wearing a sweater but that might only be if you're star gazing at 1am.
Yes we have laundry services. It is $5/per bag (up to 5lbs)
We have a trusted taxi service and they are available to book, our leaders will connect everyone on orientation. Going into town one way cost $15-$25 per car depending on time of day.
We will also be doing town runs with our ATVs... yea we got 6-seater ATVs...

Fly into Liberia, Costa Rica, at Guanacaste International Airport (LIR) or Managua, Nicaragua, to Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA). From there, we head to the beautiful Playa Maderas, where we will be for the duration of our time here!
San Juan del Sur is located on the island's southwest side, but just twenty minutes north, Playa Maderas boasts some of the world's most famous surfing. Playa Maderas is located on the island's Pacific side, surrounded by lush jungles to protect you from the mainland, cliff formations to the north, and other stunning beaches.
Once a tiny beach town fishing village, Playa Maderas has evolved into a peaceful and tranquil surfer's paradise.
The Cordoba is Nicaragua's currency. However, most establishments accept USD.
We suggest bringing about $300 to $400 to use at bars and a few of our dinners, but otherwise, we've got you covered! For reference, prices of alcoholic drinks range from $6 - $12 USD.
Playa Maderas has no ATMs, and most establishments will charge a 5-6% extra charge for car payments, so remember to withdraw your cash in your home country!
Playa Maderas is one of the safest regions to visit in Latin America. However, there are risks of petty crime and pickpockets - we suggest not carrying all your valuables with you.
Our accommodations will have safes for us to leave our valuables in, and we suggest leaving all important items in the safe while we are out exploring - but maybe keep your Yeezys and nice jewelry at home!
